Inter-Care has been serving the addiction community for 20 years providing treatment and education services to those who are negatively impacted by substance use disorders. Inter-Care was founded in 1989 by Vincent Casolaro and Robert Smith. They chose the name Inter-Care to signify a broad continuum of services, from Intervention to Aftercare. With a team of dedicated addiction professionals, Inter-Care grew from a small clinical practice into a multi-service treatment facility. In 2001, Inter-Care continued its expansion through a merge with a local outpatient treatment program, NRL Resources which introduced Nicholas R Lessa, MA, LCSW, CASAC as a partner. Today, Inter-Care is guided by Mr. Lessa and CFO, Maria Rowie Gross who are committed to ensuring Inter-Care’s high standard of quality care and maintaining its reputation as an industry leader.
